- How did you see God in the film?
- From your understanding of the scriptures, is injustice something that concerns God? Why?
- Read Psalm 10. How do you see the characters and behavior described in this Psalm revealed in the film? How do we see God respond to injustice in this Psalm? What have been your past reactions to these biblical descriptions of injustice?
- What should be the church’s response to violent oppression?
- Read Isaiah 1:17. How should the church as a body and individual Christians respond to this command?
- What prevents churches or a person of faith from responding to injustice?
- What would our world look like, and how would people see the church differently, if we were filled with God-given courage, faith and joy – and together worked to end slavery and other forms of violent oppression?

- How can you help all people in your church (including youth!) engage in the prayer, study and ministry of biblical justice?
